Hello, and thank you for choosing Slink Avatar Enhancements!
Skin makers will be able to create applicator HUDs that will apply their skin textures, to the Slink Avatar Enhancement mesh attachments. This means that at the press of a button you get an instant match to the skin you are wearing, that will work even on low SL graphics settings (note – basic shaders still need to be on, but there is no requirement for Atmospheric shaders.)
Creators and interested hobbyists will be able to create their own fun nail art, or sell HUDs of nail art for these attachments. Commercial Kit Applications
Personal Kits can be found in the store to apply custom made skins, tattoos and appliers to your Slink body parts. Personal kits can apply skins, clothing, tattoos, underwear, freckles, makeup, nailpolish and even eyelashes for Visage!
Slink bodyparts are now Omega compatible. You will need to purchase an Omega/Slink installer from Omega to have Omega appliers work on our items, you can obtain that here. If you have Omega appliers issues, you will need to contact the creator of the applier or Omega directly. Slink can only offer support for Slink products and help with Slink appliers ( you may need to contact the creator of the applier in most cases ).
Flickr Group Creators please feel free to add your vendor photos to the Slink Enhancements group!
Creators: you must tell us when you release your first Slink compatible items, or if you release items in a new category, so we can add you to the lists below.

Due to the nature of Second Life, often locations change, stores close etc. Store owners do not always let us know of these changes, if you find a location no longer there, use search on the name of the store, or marketplace. We try and update as much as possible.

There is a notecard included with the hands and feet package that outlines standard sizing for male and female avatars. The hands and feet by default are set to fit our Physique Bodies.
Hai. This is AWESOME. bai! <3
An amazing idea Sidd, I hope you get a lot of makers on board!
I have the League Toenail applier and it does not work..am I missing something?
The applier huds from other brands will not work on the older styles of feet. You must own the Slink Avatar Ehnancement hands and feet to use them. The update is free if you already own the Natural mesh barefeet, the rigged mesh medium feet or the rigged mesh hands.
It would be a good thing to let people know about the stocking hud and what it does. I bought the feet for the first time yesterday, since Tuli, my skin creator was on board early with this new system. I had no idea that you had to turn the stocking hud off to get the applier to work. I did check here but understood only that you used it if you wore stockings from Adam n Eve. I joined the Slink group and asked for help and luckily Sachi Vixen came to my rescue and told me what to do.

I have owned the Slink Natural mesh bare feet for quite some time. They were purchased for me as a gift. So, when I go to the redelivery terminal, I do not get an update. What can I do to get the updated feet?
Hi Siddean,
Great Job! This is awesome!
Question: What if the creator for the skin is no longer apart of SL to create a HUD…any assistance in that particular case?
Thanks In Advance ♥

The Breast Implant folks have been using a similar system for a few years now, so I’m glad this is starting to catch on.
If the skinner is no longer active in SL there’s unfortunately not a great deal I can do to organise HUDs for you, however, anyone can apply for a personal Dev Kit, and if you have some skill with photoshop and a skin template such as the one made by Eloh Elliot, you can make your own texture to match your favourite skin. You just may need to use a blender glove like my old system uses. I might even record a tutorial of this at some point, as I can see that it might be useful to know! 🙂
Hi Gala, I believe I sent your update today. If anyone else can’t find their update in either of the available redelivery terminals, drop me an IM with a snapshot of the item in your inventory and I’ll arrange a replacement
I agree, I’ve added some information to the boxes, and changed the texture on the stocking layer so that it’s clearly labelled as to what it is. Hopefully this will help! Thanks for letting me know about the problem 🙂
Question:
The stockings at Adam n Eve, when I put the Slink Feet on and I wear the black stockings layer and then click the black color on AE’s hud the colors don’t match at all. Is there some way to tint the feet at all or correct this?
Also I am using a Glam Affair skin, but even if I use any of AE skins (bought all the demos to try this theory) the skins aren’t going to match the stockings and then the mesh black. It’s really weird but it’s not working at all and I really want it to.
To clarify:
1. Put on Slink feet, turned on stockings with the hud
2. Put on the AE black stockings layer for the legs
3. Put on the AE stockings hud for the slink feet and select black
4. colors don’t match at all.
Hello, you need to match your feet with your skin before you wear stockings, especially if the stockings have any transparency at all. The people who have supplied HUDs for their skins are listed on this page. If they haven’t supplied HUDs that you can use to match their skin, sheer stockings won’t work with the feet. The way it works is that the foot matches the skin via a skinner HUD, then the stocking matches the SL avatar texture stocking over the top of the foot, via the stocking HUD.
Thanks for the reply and clarifying that Siddean. Can you add any opaque stockings of your own we can buy? I’d like to use your new option but I use a variety of skins. Or at least maybe make the feet with the stockings enhancement tint via the old way, before putting the stockings on?

This idea is PERFECTION to me, I love being able to wear stockings with Slink shoes/feet.

I love the new applier huds, I however have a question regarding the wrist attachment as the one in my enhanced set does not fit on my hand. It fits to my wrist but the side near the thumb does not fit. Am I doing something in correctly?
Thank you
Hi Carley, you don’t need the wrist attachments at all, they are part of the original hands. Set your torso sliders to exactly the settings for the size you are wearing and make sure you are wearing the new alpha layer that comes with the hands because the old one is too long.
I was looking but do not see if anyone has asked this yet. But for the new enhanced hands when I put on the wrist attachment it does not fit the portion that has my fingers , it fits the wrist but sticks out on the side of my thumb. Also the applier does not appear to work with the wrist mesh attachment . thank you

Hello, I’ve been having problems while wearing alpha alpha hands and clothes …. what I do not appears the option to add … ie, when I’m with my hands I can not wear shirt and pants mesh ….
problem solved!! I created a new alpha with testura that came in the folder and now I can wear over an outfit of alpha! Super happy!
The list says PF has the appliers for hands and feet and I can’t find them for the feet. Is the hand one supposed to work for both?
I think Pink Fuel will have her appliers out this week! 🙂
Is there gonna be applier for Glance skins by chance? : ) I really need it
Hi Pearl, I don’t know, but I hope so, I did send her a dev kit so hopefully she’s working on them 🙂
By any chance will there be an applier for Al Vulo skins?
hii , i´ve bought slink mesh hands and i adored them!, however ,i can´t change default nails into other designers nails without using the developers enhancenment pack
-is possible just change the nail design (pointed, short nails ,etc) in basic mesh hand? im very pleased with tinted system besides my skin brand hasnt appliers yet and i just want the nail option
ty in advance 😀
Hi so amazing work……and please we men also need hands (Feets I found at your store)with the ability of skin-applier…so you should work together with the male-skin-designers ;-)))

Does anyone know if Belleza has a feet applier? I’ve only been able to locate the hands applier.
Belleza’s feet appliers are not complete at time of publishing. I hope they will be available soon.
I know, I’ve contacted them as well. I do have a HUD available inworld that will help you tint your hands and feet easily to match your LAQ skins. Please send an IM to Slink Resident for a copy.
I have sent Al Vulo a kit. I do not know the status of their appliers, sorry.
I was surprised to find that a pair of Hucci sandals for Slink feet only fit the enhancement feet, but not the non-enhancement rigged feet. I had no idea there was such a size difference between the two. Are all of the developer shoe add-on’s for Slink feet like that?
Will there be Slink glove options in the future maybe?
Possibly 🙂
The original tintable feet were a little smaller than the avatar enhancement feet. I will be updating the tintable version to fit into addon flat shoes in a future update. The medium heeled feet don’t have the same issue, heeled shoes will fit equally on the tintable or appliers version.
LAQ have applied for a Developers kit, so I hope it is only a matter of time before they have appliers available. 🙂
Mens feet and hands will be available in the near-ish future.
There is an update in the works that will add tintability to the avatar enhancement hands so you can have tinted hands and long versatile nails. No timeframe as of yet 🙂
Glam Affair indeed has skin applier HUDs.
Opaque stockings are available with a number of the creators listed here 🙂 SySy is one that springs to mind.
omg omg you´re a genius ty ty xOxO
Do you happen to know if Dr Life has any plans to add a skin HUD? I’m anxious to buy both new hands and feet, but hopeless when it comes to color matching _-
I really like LAQ skins and hope they’ll get an applier out soon. I also hope Curio follows suit (and of course, I’d never buy anything from Hush).
I’m not certain, they haven’t applied for a developers kit to my knowledge.
I just want to thank you Siddean for your wonderful hands and feet. Its singularly the best thing that’s happened in SL in my opinion. I wish more skin makers would hop on board. I simply can’t understand why everyone of them hasn’t developed the skin matching hud and I for one plan to demand they get with the program via my blog :-)))
I got my Belleza applier to match my Slink feet pretty well to my skin. While many of the features of this new version of the Slink feet feel like upgrades, the limited number of nail colors offered by the Basic Toenail Polish HUD feels like a downgrade.
Considering there are literally thousands of nail polish options available now instead of the 15 natural and 15 polishes that come with the old feet, not to mention many new style of shoe available that fit exclusively these feet from other brands, I can’t see how you would consider these feet a downgrade. Please see the lists on this page for what is now available, as well as my flickr group and pin board. Some of these brands have gift options in nail HUDs as well, it just takes a little looking around to find them.
I’m sorry. I don’t see the loss of the many color options the old feet had, and the new necessity of additional purchases to cover that loss, as an entirely positive thing. Was taking the color options away from the new feet really necessary?
Feeling, as I do, that paying extra now to have colorful nails is a bit of a downer, I see that I’m a minority. It may seem a small thing to many. Maybe I expect too much.
The issue is not that we now have thousands of nail colours available – to me, the issue is that the existing colours (which I liked and paid money for, I might add) are now taken away for no apparent reason. Please provide insight on how that is not a downgrade. Again, having new options is not bad. Being forced into buying them is.
[…] If the new alpha layer still doesn’t fix your gap, you may have to adjust your body sliders a bit. More info about that, on this post. […]
So, do these work with the mens feet as well?
[…] All the info you need about Slink Avatar Enhancement System you can check here […]
I’ve had your feet for awhile and love them, but I tried a demo of the avatar enhancement hands today and all of the sizes leave a pretty big gap between the hand and the rest of my arm. When I try the regular mesh hand there’s no gap. Do I need to adjust something? I really want to wear the avatar enhancement version because of all the nail and skin appliers.
Someone else mentioned this and I must also say that these feet and hands will go down as one of THE best things in SL. The hosiery made for the Slink feet are in itself the best thing since sliced bread. I’m still in awe of how easy the HUDS are to use and can’t wait for Fall in SL so I can really start to wear some stockings with my slink feet and shoes! Thank you Siddean for making it all possible ♥
Do anybody know if there are any feet appliers for Body Co? or similar? and what if they havent applied for the development kit.. we cant do anything? 🙁
The Body Co have not applied for a kit to my knowledge. I am releasing an update shortly which will have more texture options to choose from so finding a match should be much easier without tinting. You will be able to wear your pretty nail appliers soon! 😀
Hi Xari, there are slider settings on this page, as long as your sliders match those of the size you are wearing there should be no gap. One condition though, you need to ensure that you are wearing the alpha layer that comes with the avatar enhancement hands, as the ones that came with the original hands are too long. You can get a free version of the alphas that work with the AE hands from the display in the store, there’s a little bag on the counter 🙂
Appliers for mens feet are not currently available. They will be released shortly though, please keep an eye on my blog and notices to see when they come out!
I’m probably overlooking something but where can i buy Slink mesh feet and hands?
I really wish LAQ would get on board!!!!
The same thing was happening to me actually where I was getting a thin line between the end of the the hands and my avatar’s forearm (if this is what you were talking about). However, after trying the combined alpha of both hands and feet I am happy to say that everything meshed together seamlessly 🙂
Hi there I applied to get the kit, for personal use, its been more than 2 weeks ago. I got nothing, nor a reply by anybody. I would like to use the enhanced version of my feet without needing to buy an expensive skin I dont even like from well known brands and expensive appliers huds too, when it would be so easy to get a free skin and free stokings and socks and make my own appliers. Is there some requirements one should meet to get the kit? I think it is not clear and you talk about it here as everybody could get is own. Thanks
I just saw this. Very good news!
Hi! Sorry to bother, but I’m having a ‘duh’ moment … are there a separate pair of Slink feet for flat feet? I have the women’s medium feet, and they have pointed toes … but the Ingenue shoes I have seem to be made for flat feet. Am I doing something wrong or is there another pair of feet I should own/ 😉
Hi Beachy. Slink currently has 2 vesions of the womens’ feet available. The flat feet work with flat shoes, the medium feet work with medium shoes. If you want to wear flat and medium heeled shoes you should own both versions of the feet! The demos are, as always, free so you can test them out before you commit to purchasing them! 🙂
LAQ have applied for a kit but I have no ETA for when their appliers will be ready. However I have released a new update to the hands and feet that makes for much easier skin matching! If you haven’t already, go over to Slink and get your update from the redelivery terminal and have a go. Some LAQ skins are already matched on the new Skin Matches page (Link at the top of this page), and some are still to be matched by our team 🙂 The list will be updated as we find skins to put there!
Thank you so much for taking time for me Siddean! I’ll head on over for my set of flat feet 😉
Hi Barabara. I have had a look in our database, but cannot find the name you have left here. If you applied for personal use for skins, we have discontinued that offer for reasons I would rather not explain here, however, the new OmniHUD V5 is very good at matching most skins without using an applier. If you have not picked your update up yet, I suggest that you do so asap, and let me or my assistant Slink Resident know if you are still unable to find a match! The new HUD is very easy, and has many more options in skins, as well as the ability to tint the Av Enhance hands and feet, so hopefully you will be able to match your attachments up no problem, even without appliers. 😀
The Slink Mesh Hands and Feet are available in the Slink Mainstore
Hi Isabella, Please visit the Slink Mainstore and pick up your update. I have added the basic colours (not the natural nails, they are still the current set of 10) back to the HUD in the new version.
Hi Ivanova, Please visit the Slink Mainstore and pick up your update. I have added the basic colours (not the natural nails, they are still the current set of 10) back to the HUD in the new version.
is the v5 hud available for the mens feet as well?
Absolutely, the mens’ feet were updated at the same time as the womens, and the men now have handsome hands!

Is anyone else having issues with stockings? Some places I’ve bought from work beautifully, others don’t match at all. I see it mentioned way earlier in the comments but it’s still happening.
My skin and feet are matched using the right applier, but when using the stocking appliers the foot is way darker than the leg. It’s especially bad in stockings with any sheerness. I’m reluctant to buy any more stockings because I can’t ever be sure that they’ll work properly.
Is this something we should message the stocking creator about?
Hi Kayala, the issue you describe exists when you have advanced lighting on, and are standing around local lights, especially projector lights. it’s not that the stockings don’t match, they do, but there are some inconsistencies with how SL lights textures with alpha transparency compared with how it lights the avatar. I’ve noticed it is worse in the current SL viewer since they released the materials project code. You can get around it by turning off local lights or turning down your graphics settings, especially if you have advanced lighting enabled for shadows. Any stockings that are opaque will work fine in any light setup, but for sheerness, until LL fix the problem in the viewer, you need to just adjust your lighting setup.
If however your graphics settings are low, make sure you at least have atmospheric shaders enabled 🙂 You can contact me or my assistant inworld to discuss this if you wish. You didn’t leave your SL name as far as I can see, so I can’t contact you there.
I didn’t know about the viewer problem. Thanks Siddean! I’ll play around with my settings a bit and drop a notecard if I’m still having an issue 🙂
Hi, isn’t there a combined Alpha for both the Slink hands and feet?
I meant to say, I saw the updated Mesh bare feet at the outlet. I wasn’t focusing properly and mistakenly said I purchased them. I never purchased the updated feet, but I did purchase the Natural Mesh Bare Feet some time ago.
I have a gap, between the hands and the wrist of my avatar where you can see a gap of nothing. Do I need to maybe make a custom alpha to fix this? Is it something in my avatar’s body sliders?
oh and because I’m pesky, is there a kit for making the shoes for the feet? Instructions? or are we just literally fitting in world shoes to the feet?
There should not be a gap. Check that your sliders match exactly those specified in the fitting instructions for the size hands you are wearing – that you are wearing the right size, and that you are wearing the appropriate alpha layer. Old alpha layers aren’t compatible with the current Av-Enhance hands. If you can’t get it working, contact Slink (Slink Official Customer Support) inworld and she will help you
There is a kit for this, it requires you to apply through the form on this page
You are welcome to keep your natural mesh feet. The update is recommended because they work with all the add-on shoes now being made, not to mention appliers for skins, tattoos, nails etc. There is no need for you to purchase the updated feet if you already own the original Natural feet, the update is free so you can pick it up, live with it for a while and see if you change your mind. if not, send them to trash and use the ones you prefer. I won’t restore the old feet to my store or marketplace. They are no longer supported, and the difference in size, features and compatibility with the appliers system would be a source of confusion.
There is a combined alpha. It’s available in all the packages for the hands, and feet, as well as all the demos.
I did but I only got the ones for nails and stockings. Is there a separate form?
