The opening of Shoetopia has been an incredible success and we at Slink would like to celebrate, but we need your help!!

Over the coming ten days I will be running three polls on my blog to allow you to vote on the colours you want to see my latest styles of shoe made into, and at the conclusion of Shoetopia , anyone who bought any of the three new Slink shoes at Shoetopia will receive the most popular voted colour as a special gift from me.

In addition, I will make my own favourite colour choice and add both the most popular colour AND my favourite colour to the multipacks! If you buy the Demi Boots in Blush – the Soles for Souls donation item – you will receive both my favourite AND the most voted for colour in Demi, for being awesome! 😀

Here’s how it works:

If you bought one or more colours of a shoe: You receive the winning new colour for that shoe for free!
If you bought one or more colours of more than one shoe: You receive the winning new colour for each of the shoes you bought for free!
If you bought a fatpack of a shoe: You receive both the winning new colour and my personal pick for that shoe for free!
If you bought more than one fatpack: You receive both new colours for each of the shoes you bought a fatpack of for free!
If you bought one fatpack and a single colour of another shoe: You receive both new colours for the shoe you got a fatpack of, and the winning new colour for the other shoe, for free!
If you bought the donation item (Demi boot in blush): You receive both new colours of the Demi boot for free!

After shoetopia, the two new colours for each style will become part of the ranges offered in the Slink Mainstore and will be full price.

I have just put these lovelies in the Slink Mainstore! These have been waiting since well before the current feet update and I’m please to finally get them released.

The Sigourney boots are a lush soft leather boot with gentle comfortable folds around the ankles and a killer stiletto heel and platform! More colours are available in the Slink Mainstore

The Slink Marigold Coat is an older release that never made it to prime time until now. I thought it was perfect for this outfit, and I made it so that it coordinates with the Sigourney boots colour selection. More colours are available in the Slink Mainstore

These come in 11 great colours with a HUD to change your strap and heel textures to a black, brown or matching option. the multipack has a HUD to control all of the options separately, so you can have pink shoes with black straps and a red heel if you so fancy. I have created a new range of ankle boots, the Astrid style. They are now available at the Slink Mainstore.

This style is available in 16 colour and texture options, and the fatpack is mix-n-match scripted with all 16 options. This boot is not rigged, and is able to be resized to fit via the included HUD. A selection of the colour options is shown below:

This is another mesh creation – not sculpty – and as such is recommended for the LL Viewer 3, Firestorm Beta, Cool VL Beta viewers only.

Viewer 1 and non mesh third party viewer are NOT supported.

New at Slink!

When I joined SL over 4 years ago, this was the very first item I wanted to make. Imagine my surprise and dismay when I found out the hard way that it was very difficult, if not impossible with the building tools at the time, and I was never satisfied with texture boots that had to have shoe prims stuck on.

Since then, we’ve had some technology updates with sculpties coming onto the scene in 2008, but still, I never liked how sculpty thigh boots broke at the knees and ankles. Now finally with SL’s new “Mesh” technology, I can have my dream thigh boots. They are slim, they are very sexy, they are available now in 10 goooorgeous colours at the Slink Mainstore!

I have provided FOUR sizes to fit 4 body archetypes, and there is an information notecard contained within describing how you can obtain a custom fitting if it’s required 🙂

Please try the DEMO before purchasing!

These boots require a mesh compatible viewer such as Viewer 3. At this time, Cool VL Viewer and Firestorm are the TPV’s capable of displaying meshes. I have a pair rezzed in the store, if you see an oddly textured prim, you need an up to date viewer!
