Slink Visage Head – FAQ

Hi! Below are some common questions people have regarding Slink feet. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please contact Slink Resident in world and she’ll sort you right out!

 

Q. Can I wear my own skin on the Visage head?

A. If the store your skin is from makes Visage appliers then you can, if not you will have to find one that does.

Q. I have my own custom skin I made/bought can I use that on your body?

A. If you have the skins in full perms textures, then you can use the personal HUD that is free in our store. You just rename the textures as it indicates on the hud and drag and drop.

Q. I cannot find make up for my head, is there some at Slink?

A. The head comes with a skin applier with a few different make up options. The V2 heads now have make up layers for creating make ups separately of the skins, so if you do not have v2 go to the store and update using the Redelivery Terminal. We do not sell make ups separately at this time, but we may in the future, but 3rd party content creators will start to release those.

Q. My eyes look crossed, what can I do?

A. Adjust your eye spacing in your edit appearance eye options, this will give you a more centred appearance. We recommend setting it around 50 for best results.

Q. Can I wear my own eyes with the head?

A. Yes, the head works with the SL default eyes, you can also use mesh eyes if you have them.

Q. I have a gap between my neck and my head, what do I do?

A. Please look in your head folder for the “Slink Neck Patch for Visage V2 (wear with Physique)” once you wear this it will fill the gap.

Q. Can I change the shape of my face, nose, mouth?

A. The heads are modeled in the shape they are, and as there are limited bones that SL gives us for the head there are no adjustments you can make at this time other than head size.

Q. My Face got stuck in an expression, and no matter how many times I click it won’t change. How can I fix this?

A. We have done a lot of work on fixing this possibility in V2 of the heads, so make sure you have that version, you can update at the store with the Redelivery terminal. If it does still occur due to TP or Lag, just unpack a new version of the head and wear that. You can get unlimited copies from the store when needed.

Q. I don’t have a hair base option on my head, what can I do?

A. We have updated that option ability in V2, now it will be just up to the creators to create hairbases for the head, so talk to your favourite hair base store and see if they would do so. Some skins will come with hairbases as part of the skin.

Q. Will you be making other head types, I want something more diverse than the ones in the store now?

A. We definitely have plans to increase the number of heads we currently have available, and want to offer a range of ethnicities in the future.
