Slink Avatar Enhancement – Available Appliers or OmniHUD V5 commands

Below you will find the links to either the stores with appliers, or their Marketplace location, if they make appliers for the Slink Avatar Enhancement system. If beside a stores name it says Manual, that will mean you need to input the data using either our Omni Hud v5 that comes with the Hands/Feet, or the Alternative Skins HUD that can be picked up in our Mainstore for FREE. Click on the link and you will be directed to the page for that individual store, and skin matches that we have done previously will be listed.

If you do not find a match or applier for your skin below, and are unable to achieve a match using the Slink OmniHUD or the Slink Alternative skins HUD, please send a notecard to Slink Resident, titled Skin Matching (your avatar name) – no display names. Inside, please note the hours you are online and send a friend request to Slink Resident, and we can arrange to help you match your skin at the store. This is a one-time courtesy service to guide you into the skin matching process, we do not provide a skin matching service for every skin owned or purchased in the future.

To find Slink Resident just copy and paste

in local chat and click on the link.

When using the manual settings, the two different HUDs have different codes.

Omni Hud v5 :

R = Red

Y = Yellow

G = Grey (light or dark)

Alternative Skins Huds :

SR = Saturated Red

SY = Saturated Yellow

DSR = Desaturated Red

DSY = Desaturated Yellow

    […] SLink has some exciting new updates available now for the Mesh and Avatar Advancement Hands and Feet, which include the flat and the medium feet, a new Omni Hud 5 as well for easier matching skins without appliers, oh and you can wear pretty nails as well……….  So run over, if you have not already and update your amazing mesh additions that we cannot live without because the thought of having to size prim nails or look at our own lovely sl hands or feet again is too hard to bare …….hehe………….and well of course while I was there………I spied the Glitter Peeptoes in Red, these are exactly what I needed for this look, and yes I have these in other colors, but these are just an amazing testament to how far we have come since the essential add-on’s, appliers and the alpha was born.  I seriously ♥ Siddean Munro one step ahead and always making sure we have beautiful hands and feet. i think it is ridiculous that Hush charges 450L for an applier when the hands cost that much, total rip off one thing about n-core feet you just go to their site click your skin maker and tone and they blend the feet perfectly…NO CHARGE!!! Slink should do this, after spending money for both feet and hands and then have to buy an applier for 450L, really ticked me off. I will warn everyone I know about this.

  4. Siddean September 21, 2013 at 10:19 PM

    Hi Breeze. I am sorry you feel this way. We have no control over what individual skin designers charge, they can use their own discretion and many skinners place the HUDs with their skins or charge very little for them, as they are extra work on top of making the skin. There are advantages to using an applier, of course, but the Slink OmniHUD V5 is very adept at matching most skins, appliers or not, all you need to do is contact Slink Support and we will help you free of charge, and place the matching information in the database for others to use as well. Would you like one of us to contact you and help you match your skin?

    The men`s mesh hands and feet are awesome!
    Problem is that there are not any appliers for male skins,while the men are the biggest noobs and the less experienced on matching the skin.
    I really hope,these brands will add some appliers,so we can enjoy this product to the fullest!

  6. Siddean September 22, 2013 at 12:19 PM

    Give them time. It took a little while for appliers to become available for the womens hands. In the meantime, have a go at the HUD, it’s very easy and there are a ton of extra textures and layers in it for matching without tinting or using appliers 🙂

  7. Fotios Kahanamoku September 22, 2013 at 2:05 PM

    I still had some problems making them match with my skin.But,
    I am very grateful to Slink Support which helped me doing it,just after i contacted them.
    This was the best Customer service i have ever seen, the 4,5 years i am in second life!
    Thank you!!

    A couple questions, please. After having chosen my closest skin match (R13), I still had to tint it a bit with the OmniHUD to get close enough. So far so good, but now, for the other hands (gestures), how do I apply this same exact tinting? I can get the HUD to tell me the RGB values of my current hand set’s tint, but how do I make it to listen to an RGB command for the next one? I seem to remember the previous HUD had a ‘listen’ feature, possibly on channel 13… does v5 have it, too? And if so, what’s the exact command?

    The second question is: the ‘Tutorial’ notecard in the product package mentions an ‘additional set of textures’ on the Slink Mainstore. Is it actually available, or will be soon? I honestly couldn’t find it.

    Thanks 😉

  9. Siddean September 22, 2013 at 7:32 PM

    The command to enter a new texture is /13 skin r,g,b replacing the letters r,g,b with your tint values. So, to make the tint white, you would enter /13 skin 255,255,255. To make it black you would enter /13 skin 0,0,0. You just need to enter whatever the tint in your blender layer is to the new hands. (if you get an error when you use the /13 command, go back to the Slink store and get an updated pack from the redelivery terminal. I had to fix the script the day after release)

    The alternative textures are not yet available, I’m still working on the HUDs because there are a *lot* of textures 🙂

  10. rentoxx September 22, 2013 at 7:43 PM

    Thanks a lot, Siddean! With that, I’ll be able to tint-match my whole set much faster.
    Looking forward to have the alternative textures when available 😉

  11. Siddean September 22, 2013 at 7:57 PM

    You don’t have to do them one by one, if you attach a few at a time you can apply the texture and tint to them all at once 🙂

    Hello, I feel these hands should be mod or at least contain a resizer script. My ones, even the xl model are too small for my avi, which is not extremely huge.

  14. Siddean September 28, 2013 at 5:59 PM

    Hi Lawrence, the size indicated on the hand objects is the wrist fitting, not the hand size. The hand size is controlled by the hand slider in your shape settings 🙂

  15. Raven Serrurier October 2, 2013 at 2:15 AM

    I just bought Bambi in tone 26 from the Skin Shop and am having the hardest time tinting my hands to match. If anyone has succeeded in matching a skin from there, please leave a comment and tell me how you did it..thanks.

  16. Trystan Derryth November 7, 2013 at 9:05 AM

    Also having a horrible time getting a match with the male hands and feet for a Skin Shop skin, Dash 06. I sent an email in to the support email, and hopefully they’ll have better luck. But over all, the male body parts are just as amazing as the female ones I have on my main account. Still hoping more stores will oblige their customers with skin appliers.

  17. LEX November 24, 2013 at 8:24 PM

    I use Dream Ink skins (Pale) and I am also having trouble getting a match….

  18. Sephina Frostbite November 29, 2013 at 7:38 PM

    Do you happen to know who is the creator of wow skins. I have Viola skin and they only do the hands not the feet. I would like to be able to wear them. Thanks in advance.

  19. Akito Zuta November 30, 2013 at 6:16 AM

    The owner of wow skins is Sawsan Secretspy. Have you checked the store though because she tends to make appliers for everything.

  20. Nastasia Rogue November 30, 2013 at 9:40 AM

    Hi, I think my post was deleted (?) not sure why. I simply asked if anyone knew what the tint combination was for the Snow Rabbit Natural White for the Nea avatar. I see that beige is listed. I was hoping someone could help me with the other colours. Thanks in advance.

  21. Nastasia Rogue November 30, 2013 at 9:43 AM

    Hi, I believe the WOW skins creator is Sawsan Secretspy.
    For future reference, just right click on the skin and select properties and you’ll see who the creator is.
    Hope this helps you. =)

    I just had confirmation from Felicity Blumenthal that Belleza do not have any plans for men’s appliers at all 🙁 That is a real shame!

  23. Siddean December 11, 2013 at 11:43 PM

    That is a shame, but there isn’t a great deal I can do about it if they decide not to provide appliers for their skins. We have matched some of the mens skins using the Slink OmniHUD v5 on the skins and appliers page, and I guess we will continue to do so.

  24. Siddean December 11, 2013 at 11:47 PM

    Hi Nastasia, thanks for your comment. I will see if we can get the snow rabbit range added to the skins and appliers page using the Slink OmniHUD V5

  25. Siddean December 11, 2013 at 11:48 PM

    Hello. I will endeavour to add the Dream Ink range to the Skins and appliers page using the OmniHUD V5.

  26. Siddean December 12, 2013 at 12:01 AM

    Hi Trystan, thanks for your comment. We’ve been trying to add this range to our list of matched skins but it’s still a work in progress. As time goes on, we will have more skins matched and hopefully cover the complete range 🙂

  27. readmeri December 12, 2013 at 10:28 AM

    Yeah, I know Siddean.. I didn’t expect you to do anything about it, I was just saying so that people who come here looking, when they want to make decisions about which skin supplier to go with can make an informed choice. We were waiting until appliers were released by Belleza to get the hands and feet for my partner – now I guess the wait is over!

  30. Sharma chuwes December 30, 2013 at 10:35 PM

    I was so pleased to go to one of my skin suppliers and find appliers for my skins.It makes life so much more easier than having to fiddle with the huds.But on that note im very pleased with the product of slink hands and the expert service that both my partner and I received.I will be of course looking to buy skins in the future that have appliers.Thanks for the great product and for the people that make their appliers.

  31. Siddean December 31, 2013 at 7:36 PM

    We will look into matching Tutys and adding it to the website, but in the meantime you can contact Slink Resident (Slink Official Customer Support) inworld, and she will assist you with matching 🙂
