This is just a little teaser of the skin I have been working on in the few spare moments I can find in my currently very busy days. Her name is Anya, and she is a hybrid. I’ve been experimenting with some techniques for photosourcing and I am liking the results I am getting. Anya will be available soon, I’m working on makeups and skintones for her 🙂
I think she’s pretty!
In case anyone who wanted to see it yesterday missed it, here is my interview on Fabulous Fashion with Angie Mornington.
I’d like to give a quick thanks to the ladies at SLCN tv for a very professional production and a fun experience for me, and I’d like to thank Duettman and Frankel Modelling for providing the gorgeous models at very short notice! You really came through for me again!
Also available on iTunes in the video podcasts, just search for Fabulous Fashion.
I have been invited to chat with Angie Mornington this afternoon on SLCN TV’s Fabulous Fashion. I’m pretty excited about it and just letting you know that the show starts at 6pm today. If you are interested, you are welcome to come and have a listen!
I have just read Ivey Deschanel‘s post on tolerance in SL and I find myself agreeing with about everything she has said! I had planned to do this eventually, but I thought now was the right time. This is a brief look how far someone can come in just a year, with the right encouragement and support. What you are seeing here is the evolution of SLink skins. I am very proud of my skins, and the rest of my colletion, and how far I have come, but also very aware of the fact that I still have a very long way to go before I will be happy with my products, if ever.
Encourage, don’t discourage new designers, you never know who they will become in a year or 2!! And laugh at yourself, you will have more fun that way!
Hey there! It’s been a while since my last release, you can blame the Aussie summer for that. It’s virtually impossible to do anything constructive or productive when you’re hot 😮 Oh yeah and losing your train of thought to a computer upgrade and complete reinstall of everything you need can also be kind of a factor in these things 🙂
Anyway, I have been working on new hair textures, and have the following 3 styles to offer! I hope you like them!! Demos are free as usual, come try them on! There are 9 colour packs, 3 colours each set at $300L per pack. That’s a brazen $100L per hairstyle!!!
The actual styles are modifyable, and incorporate a mix of standard and sculpted prims.
First up, Amanda is a cute little nape-of-the-neck knot, with long sweeping bangs and locks caught up in a simple silver barette.
Next is Holly, a long style, longer than I would usually make. Holly is a half-up-half-down style with flattering side swept bangs.
Rachelle is the last style I have today. It’s a high, messy knot of hair with the bangs pulled up and pinned in a haphazard manner. This is a brush and go style that still looks great for a busy girl 🙂
Come try on a demo today at SLink!
I have finally encountered that frustrating bug that plagues SL users with Nvidia cards. I have a Geforce 7600 GT, and I recently upgraded my ram, harddrive and OS to Vista 64 bit. Now, I know my husband loaded the latest nvidia drivers, but now I have this problem. To a designer, this is death!!
My shoe/sock textures are visible all up the legs of the avvie, I can’t see the pants I am wearing, and o, just as an aside, my ocean floor is pitch black. Grrrr.
Help me please! The future of SLink is at stake…
Oh yes, I have rolled back to the Nvidia drive 175.16 but it doesn’t work. Disabling Palletised textures and rebaking as per this Jira fixes it temporarily but I have to do this with every item I wear now.
I have popped 2 colours of this cute little ponytail in my lucky chair while I am working on the colours for this style. I have been hellishly busy but I have a few things on the burner for my next release day including new hairstyles and textures!
Blonde and black available in the Suzie ponytail! Come try your luck at SLink.
